The 2020 vintage stands out as truly distinctive. Notably, it commenced with unprecedented early budburst, advancing by a remarkable three weeks, culminating in a harvest solely within the month of August. Elevated temperatures, coupled with minimal rainfall, led to a substantial water deficit and evapotranspiration occurrences throughout July and August. Conversely, the absence of rain contributed to exceptionally healthy grape conditions. These unique circumstances of the vintage fostered exceptional balances in the resulting wines.
